MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - ROGUE NATION
9 FRAME ANALYSIS
Within the opening of Mission Impossible:
Rogue Nation, only the main actors are listed as well as the producers, casting
directors and anyone else who played a very important role within the film. The
rest usually come at the end of the film, within the credits roll. I think the decided to include only main actors because they are well known and as a result of this reason, they would attract a wider audience to watch the film. This would make he audience feel more excitement and anticipation for the film.
The font used within the opening sequence is rather bold and is situated in the middle of the screen, this highlights the importance of the words but also the boldness could foreshadow the strength of the characters and possibly the genre. The background to the text consists of fire-like colors, which connotes a sense of danger but also passion.
The visuals are very quick paced which adheres to the genre of the sequence, which is matched by the upbeat and racy music which helps build tension and create an atmosphere of excitement.
