Location - Aidan

 For our thriller opening sequence we are going to have a few different locations. 

LOCATION 1: 

  One of the locations we will be filming in will be my local alley (pictured below). We choose this location as I think its going to be able to set a thriller atmosphere and highlight conventions our of crime thriller. We will use the natural light from the lamp posts to highlight the contrast of daytime to night time as we will be filming at night. This location is very accessible as it is also public footpath. Therefore we will not need any permission to film there.

LOCATION 2:

The second location is also very local. It is called 'Hollywood gardens' It is a street of houses and has cars, lamposts etc. We chose this road as it is also very close to the alley (pictured above) so it would be easy for us to access and move our filming equipment. We choose this location as initially we had were planning to use  Hounslow highstreet however after visiting Hounslow it was very busy and we thought it would be very difficult to perform naturally without capturing an audience due to our camera equipment. We do  not want an audience as we want our opening as real as possible and we thought that the busy street would cause us problems in filming as we may have to ask for consent if caught in the filming.

This street also may be the location of where we have a pan shot of the black corsa driving away, I think this would be a good location as it would make recordings of the car more easier as there is a lot less likeness of there being traffic and also not as busy as a main road.

LOCATION 3: 
This location is actually in our school we all go to (St Marks Catholic school). It is a small dark room in our main block. We think it will be great to film in as it is small and compact. Also the lighting we could get in there would also be very effective for our opening sequence. However we do have a problem as we will have to ask a teacher for the permission to use it and try and move around some of the stuff inside as we want to try and make the layout an interrogation room. Doing this we will need to remove some of the stuff inside.

To conclude these are where the thriller opening is going to be located, however there is slight chance of adjustments to our location as if on the day of recording we have some external problems with our location (for example weather etc) we will have to move.
