SIMILAR THRILLER FILMS?
'Emulsion' (Singh,2013) is a Psychological thriller about a man looking for his lost wife. Our plot actually quite similar to this. but where is a scene it the film that is like ours, an interview shot, using 180-degree rule.
inception (Nolen, 2012) all though this film is very fantasy based, the basic plot is similar to ours because the protagonist in this film only seek to be with his wife and children.
some other key thriller conventions we knew we needed to make sure we include within our thriller to attract our audiences is (ELEMENTS TO INCLUDE):
- Music that creates suspense and match what is happening on screen
- Jump cuts / fades / dissolves
- Some action, to build up to a climax
- An intriguing and immersive plot
- Realistic sound,for example, the police sirens during the thriller opening
- Keeps you on the edge of your seat and thinking throughout the opening.
- Attractive / easy on the eye visuals.
